Micropigmentation
The three divisions follow the same standard. We currently offer scalp micropigmentation. Lip and brow micropigmentation are coming soon. This page explains what they share.
What it is
Pigment held to a permanence standard
It uses the same tool as a tattoo. The standard behind it is different.
Micropigmentation places pigment in the skin to complete something that already exists: a hairline, an outline, a shape. It does not add a new image. The pigment sits shallower than in a tattoo. It is planned to fade evenly rather than to stay identical. The result is maintained over time and is not finished on session day.
At NARA it is a discipline of its own, with its own decisions: tone, depth, density and maintenance plan. The same standard applies as in the rest of the atelier.
What to ask before deciding
The shared standard
Said once, here. It applies to all three divisions, with no exceptions.
Pigment sourcing
Every pigment enters the atelier with an identifiable origin and a recorded batch. If we can't say where it came from, it isn't used.
Single-use materials
Needles, cartridges and surfaces are disposable, opened in front of you and discarded afterward. Nothing that touches skin is reused, in any division or session.
Per-session traceability
Which pigment, which batch and which settings were used on you are all on record. It serves your touch-up, and it lets us answer with data if that is ever needed.
Consultation before pigment
We don't pigment on the first visit. Tone, depth and expectation are looked at first. If something doesn't add up, it gets said beforehand.
